Corrections policy
How to report a mistake, how fast we act on it, and how we mark a page that has been corrected.
How do I report a mistake?
Email us at contact@glintrex.com. Tell us the page, what’s wrong and, if you can, a source that shows the right answer.
Patch notes, an official announcement or a store page are the most useful, but we read every report.
How quickly do we fix things?
- Factual errors (a wrong date, spec, price or stat): corrected as soon as we’ve confirmed them, normally within a few working days.
- Out-of-date information after a patch: updated in our next pass over that game’s pages.
- Opinions such as a score or a ranking aren’t errors. We’ll still read your argument, and a strong one can change the page.
How do we mark a correction?
The page’s date changes to the date of the correction. If the mistake changed a recommendation, such as a score, a tier placement or whether your PC can run the game, we also add a short note on the page saying what changed.
We don’t quietly rewrite a verdict and pretend it was always that way.
What don’t we change?
We won’t change a score or a verdict because a publisher or affiliate partner asks us to. See our editorial charter.
